Noticed a few people play at the moment, are you playing on your own servers or on one from the server list?

Is this any good? Was looking at this and DayZ, but holding off until more development is done.

Watched a few youtube videos on these by frankieonpc which gives the impression of very alpha games and not much to do apart from grief other players.

Sorry to dig up an old post, but wanted to say that I got this in a recent sale (although it's not that much cheaper) and played a bit with swither last night which was fun.

If anyone wants to play with a complete noob i'm available.

Who else has this?

A group might stand a chance together of fortifying/building a base?

Any servers worth a look?

I am still umming and ahhing about this game, the graphics look awful. I might wait till its officially out. I know that graphics aren't everything ( looking at you minecraft ) but when it comes to zombie games I like them looking good :)

Crap graphics, but is still alpha.

Gameplay is good, you do feel like oh crap night is coming where to hide. No rambo stuff here!

Saying that it hasn't grabbed me enough to play for long, but I did have fun with Aciid & Medi on multiplayer. Worth a look if cheap offers on.

DayZ also interests me, but sounds more like a bandit game.

Mind you H1Z1 looks better than either of the above.

I played dayZ for a bit, it's full of hackers and with a one man programming team behind it there's a ton of bugs and hackers just ruin your day.

It was fun but with no single player it got boring real fast tbh rust has the same feel which is why I plummed for this. Rust has more of a following to it so may do better, it's just not for me.

The best early access games I would recomend are Kerbal space program, Starbound and Factorio. They are more stable and playable than anything I've seen although Starbound is still a little rough round the edges, so waiting for retail release is probably a sound bet as most early access games are a risk they won't be finished.

(sorry my 10p ramble)
