Anyone up for some roleplaying?

You know every time I try this something gets in the way, but not this time!

I fancy doing a game in a chat room with a dice roller if anyone is interested, not terribly bothered about the system we play but I would like to use Rifts or Phase World (both by palladium books, www.palladiumbooks.com).

I have about 6 months without the better half as she is going to yank land for a while so between that and having nothing to do I think something like this would be great fun, I know I have tried to get things off the ground in the past but as it stands this will begin quite quickly, I am aiming for a 2nd Sept start, I have all the material ready and waiting so all I need are players, so I am asking you lot as there are some damn good players amongst our ranks.

Just one note though, no comic relief, except by accident!, I would like the game to run seriously!

If anyone is interested drop me an E-mail or PM, or post here and we will get everything ready for a Sept 2nd start, no ifs no buts as I want to do this and have intended to do so for a long time, this time it will happen, so who fancies a go then?

Gunz, fist fights, explosives and various other forms of violence will be heartily encouraged in all involved. As will drinking and debautchery etc.

A while ago I came across a Red Dwarf pbem, over the last few days people are talking about starting a game, looks like it will be done on some kind of forum and maybe IM once a week.

It's not running yet, there are 4 people talking about getting one going, anyone here interested? Red Dwarf could be a blast.

while the red dwarf rpg looks good for a fan of the show like me, buying the rule book just to play in a pbem has put me off.

then I found Blue Dwarf, I have not read into it too much but looks like anyone can join in with no rule book in hand :)
