I see a few of you guys have gone for the early access beta, what yer thoughts? I have some time off booked for when it comes out but wasn't too fussed about the early access :)

Hearing good things but not tried myself yet. Open beta is this weekend and you can pre download now which I have done to try before buying as its not cheap

Played the beta a bit, Its more like a tweaked version of three. They kept everything I disliked in DIII. If you liked DIII you will like this so give it a go. I refunded it and went back to Diablo Res.

Thats a bit of a bummer Cull! I had hoped it would be all the best bits from all three but then what I think is the best bits might not be what others do. I have to admit that after playing DIIR I couldn't go back to DIII I missed the weapon swap instantly. I did like DIII and was playing it until DIIR came out. I will give it a bash and see.

Whadya mean is it out yet?!?

Yeah official was yesterday, some folk have been enjoying the early access for a few days before that.
Have to say yes, I enjoyed poking about in all new corners, finding new gear etc am running through with Rogue and then we will see what its like the second time round and am looking forward to trying out the other chars. I might even get used to seeing other people when am poking about. :)

A friendly necromancer has resurrected me, after a 10 year sleep. (My avatar seems bizarrely appropriate.)

I absolutely hated Diablo 3 visually and just gave up gaming altogether so it seems.
Bought a PS5 last December and have been playing D2R offline.
I didn't think I'd get DIV, but then I did. Liking it more, the more I play, but have absolutely no idea how to use chat controls with PS5.

Cullhaven you have befriended me I believe. I was confused how I had a couple of friends already. Penny has dropped now. I'm not ignoring you if you've messaged me in game. I haven't seen anything. I'll investigate comms at some point. Just playing solo a couple of hours a day so far. Wandering about taking it in. Level 40 and only just started act 2 (World Tier 2).

Monsters level with you so absolutely no need to rush. (Although a horse would be nice.)

Stash management is a nightmare on PS. I sell/craft most of it.

Just lost an hour of my life trying to pair a keyboard with my ps5. Turns out my LG C1 TV pairs to it first and behaves like a jealous cult leader, refusing to honour a disconnect or forget for more than a few seconds. I'll buy another cheap one just for ps5.

Nice one, well not about the keyboard :rolleyes: am kinda similar. I hit the social button by accident last night and actually spoke to Phx. Mostly still enjoying poking about too. About the same point, finished act 1 and not in any rush to get to the end. Have been trying to find all the nooks of Fractured peaks before moving on. Will probably get more sociable once I have played the story through.

Finally got to Act 3. Should have named this char DillyDally. Level 50. Thanks for accepting clan join request in game.
