Print Stripping

Brake fluid. Put some in a jam jar, drop the models in it, leave them for a few days then rinse them off really well and they'll be like new.

Edit: This is safe to use on current GW plastics that use a hard styrene, if you're doing really old figures or something that you aren't sure about then do a test model first.

Most of the Warhammer forums I read suggest something called Simple Green which appears to be a US version of Flash floor cleaner. I don't know what the exact European equivalent of it is or what specifically is in it that strips models. Brake fluid is reliable and is the same across the world so I feel safer recommending that. I don't strip models at all so I can't give any personal recommendation.

I've only stripped metal ones I'm afraid, and you can use basically anything you wouldn't want to drink for that...

Ive been using Cillit Bang floor cleaner. It works perfectly on plastics and is significantly safer than brake fluid which, frankly, scares the hell out of me having 2 young kids

Havent done this in years but I would avoid brake fluid as it will strip just about anything, right now I am having fond memories of a friend who got some on his bikes fuel tank and was rather upset as he watched the paint peel away. In seconds. Its easily the best stuff for the job but be bloody careful!

yeah brake fluid is violent stuff lol, i've had some that had a good crack and getting through concrete before today (granted it was leaking out of a car and was there for ages), Cilit bang would probably be safer if you're worried about kids or drunken idiots, just look what it does to a coin!!
