That'll be from him repeatedly saying that if he didn't play for Arsenal, the English team he'd play for would be Liverpool due to the fans/atmosphere.

In that case.......

We're signing Eto'o and switching to a 4-3-3 formation with him, Henry and RvP in attack.

I know Ky will disagree but I don't think we need too much for next season.

Goals from Midfield (You would expect the goals from forwards to be better with Henry and RvP back and I would expect Bendtner to return).

Ribery I would like. I think Freddie, who has been a great source of goals over the seasons, is on his way out fitness wise and needs replacing. Rosicky and Hleb need to be scoring more but this season was their first so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Interestingly Reyes seems unwanted at Real but I don't see him coming back sadly.

We have a lot of cover in defence but its young and inexperienced. Gallas could go and if so we would then need to buy.

Not sure tbh. I think we did brilliantly without our two main forwards so I'd be happy with just Ribery to fill in that dynamic midfield role gap left by Fred.

Unless there is some big reason we are all missing The Lamb needs to go back to Real.

Hargreaves to the Mancs

It will be interesting to see how it works out. At the moment I think Hargreaves is a good player, but a bit overrated; peoples opinion are bound to be based on his CM performances for England, yet we didn't have another payer for that position. After the trash games we had played he was bound to shine there.

A good player and he will improve them, but his partnership with Carrick will be nowhere as good as Scholes-Keane. If Hargreaves plays deep, Carrick will get even less time on the ball and when harried he has struggled.

Craig Bellamy to West Ham seems to be a popular rumour at the minute and as I know Ky loves the little welsh whinner I thought it worth mentioning :)

Micheal Owen to Man U is something that doesn't seem to go away either.

I don't want a cockweasel like Bellamy anywhere near the club I support - the fans won't like it, I can tell you that much. The only possible bonus is him and Lee Bowyer might batter each other to death in training which would be a winner for everyone who likes football.

Bale to spurs.

Can't believe Arsenal or Liverpool (both with questionable LB's) aren't in for him.

The Mancs signed some players.

LFC have bid 40 mill plus Alonso for Samuel Eto, according to the Spanish press.

Chavs have bid 50, Mancs have bid 40 and been told to do one.

Insane. Is he even that good? I know he has scored alot of goals in Spain, but whose to say his game will suit the premiership.

West Ham to sign Joey Barton, another thug linked to the Hammers :p

Barton and Bowyer in the same midfield. They only need to bring Dyer in and I'd pay to watch them. It'd be like the 3 Scousers on Harry Enfield.

One of the lads we signed a few weeks ago is a huge prospect - Lucas. He is the current holder of the Bola de Ouro (Brazils player of the year). Mind you the rest of the players on that list are shit, so not much hope for him.

We're after Frances player of the year as well; Malouda - a LM who can also play LB.

Doesn't seem m uch to this scouting lark to me. Put every countries player of the year into a hat and randomly pick a few.

50mil???? He's simply not worth anywhere near that. 15-20 seems reasonable. I do hope Liverpool or Chavs do pay that and he completely flops because these clubs with silly money need to be taught a lesson.

ManU seem to have done the best business. Bought some great talent and pretty much replaced their midfield in one fell swoop.

Aren't we supposed to be swapping Henry for him and a load of cash or something according to the press. \o/

I'm going to have to show my ignorance about football here :p But i've never understood the 'Work Permit' ruling when signing non EU players, does it require a player to have played in Europe for a certain amount of time before they can play in the Britain? It only seem to be Britain that has these rules and that's why alot of the top talent from South America ends up in Spain and Portugul, so do Liverpool have to loan this Lucas out for a while? But there again if that is the case how did Tevez and Mascarino go straight from the Brazilian league into WH, although isn't international Caps taken into account? - Confused!
If someone could explain how this works i'd be interested.

Dunno about Barton to WHUFC but Parker is coming to us (good signing) and Reo-Cock is on his way out, thank fuck - useless wanker.
