So as i am not collecting Spacewolfs i've decide to go hunting on Ebay for stuff

today has netted me 11 bloody claws for �13 inc P&P
5 long fangs for �12 inc P&P
and the space wolf coded for �10

so �35 gone now all i need is my Razorback, Rinho and Lone wolf. and thats my 500 pt army done!

hopefully i've done well! being new to this ebay stuff and wolves are expensive atm.

Nice find. My son cleared his bedroom out today and found a Ultramarine chaplain, unopened box of scouts, unopened box of terminators, unopened box of close assault marines with jetpacks and his GW box with his tactical marines and commander. Think he got them last Christmas. Hoping he gets his arse in gear and we have some painting sessions in the coming months so I can try out my Eldar.

You need 1HQ and 2 troop choices even at 500pts Cuth.

You could split your blood claws into a 5 man and 6 man squad. The long claws are heavy weapons - do you know what they are fitted with?

Id look for a wolf lord for your basic HQ choice to start with.

And space wolves? Bleugh!!!! :) Otherwise nice net (I think) though Space wolves are probably a little on the expensive side on Ebay as they are still the 'current' uber space marine chapter.

Their fitted with 2 missle, 1 plasma 1 1 hvy bolter.

Were playing 400pts rules, just with 500 pts, so no Hvy armour and no Hq needed. If i did need an HQ i would drop 1 Grey hunter and stick in a Wolf Priest with Jaws of the world wolf.

they are expenive yes, but not as expenisve as GW!

I think it depends what you want though. For instance ive bought 9 veteran Dark angels from Ebay recently (primed only). Obvsiouly i dont have all the extras you get so essentially am stuck with how the figure looks.

My Trygon though - Wayland games (same price as GfG). Big important units id definately get new unless i wasnt bothered about someone elses Talent (have a couple of superb fexs and a great tyrant from Ebay )

Ultimately what i dont like with ebay mor ethan the pain jobs is the fact your at the mercy of the original builder in terms of wargear and legality. Ive had some illegal troops before now and have a number of marine tactical squads missing sargeants (which is why i got the veterans from ebay)

The good thing about G4G. You vcan use their prices as a bench mark of what to pay 2nd hand. NEVER buy the same thing from Ebay - fixed and painted for more than G4G + Postage cost, Ever!!!!
