Been having probs getting any overclocking joy from my ebaytastic PC since i got it, been hitting a 420mhz wall with the crappy PNY 3200 ram in it.
Had a thought today about dropping the ram speed down to DDR 333mhz and ramping up that way.
Got it to stable at 2.5ghz with the ram running at 415mhz, stock voltages.
Was very suprised at the result, seems the stuff about SLI being hamstrung by anything less than an athlon 64 3500 is true.
Primed for 45 mins on max heat no problem, early days but looks solid, temps not budging from around 50-52 and its very hot in here tonight.
Was chuffed with this piece of Dart ownage
