I always double, triple and quadruple check contracts because it seems that most of them are con jobs.

Example - WTB 7x Caldari Navy Cruise launchers (485 million) looks great because you could buy 7 for 350m and sell them on at a profit - except when you look at the contract detail he's only offering 485,000.

It all just seems a bit tedious, I don't understand why they don't just let everything go on the open market.

I'm still giggling about getting a 550 mil ship hull for 55 mil. or 45, i forget.

It's there because the game is an open ended sandbox experience where you can do what the hell you want. Scam, cheat, lie, steal. Destroy people's stuff, make them cry and generally enjoy yourself.

man, you should have seen escrow, the pre-cursor to contracts....
