Some of the new beasties are damn nice as well.

The levelling rate for a 1 player game is great and . Am going to have to read about some of the odd drops though, think I have a heart of each beastie I've dropped so far.

Anyone mind if I join in a game if anyone's arranging? Played on a local lan with my son... damn good fun!

You do know that one 1 player you can type in /players x (x=1-8) and the game thinks that there are more people? Means monsters are tougher, give more xp and drop more and better gear.

For some reason this will not launch for me - it's installed but when I launch it, it refuses to start.

Oh and it completely killed my D2 installation stone cold dead.

Is it installed in your Diablo II directory Crow ? Should have a directory called es300r inside the Diablo II directory (needs a full install and I think it needs patching to 1.11) and then run es300rlauncher from within that directory.

If yes, do you have the Diablo II disk or LoD disk in your CD/DvD drive ?

Yes I found that - if the D2/D2 exp disc is not in the drive it won't even give a message asking for the disc, it just won't start after the backing up of your original D2 files (could be why your D2 install went pear-shaped) Really enjoying it though & a Golem Necro is now viable especially as you can't summon Skelies until lvl 12
