Very easy to put all the blame on Robbo for the first goal, but that is lazy observation. Yes he made a mistake, but hy on earth was the German player allowed to be in our 6 yard box on his own with Ferdinand and JT stood watching him, both of them standing about 5 yards away....!

Nah lets not look at the defenders they were probably pissing themselves inside and trying not to laugh.

Lets just blame Robinson as that was such a monumental cock up. Funny thing is I could have sworn it looked like it was actually going to swing right across the goalmouth and go safe (on the camera angle behind the winger)

very easy to blame robinson because it was his fault! you cant blame others for not predicting it happening, although perhaps with robinsons ever increasing number of cock ups they should just assume he will cock it up!

Terry Butcher on the radio this morning was the first pundit I have heard to ask exactly the same question I put there. It is very easy to join in the press baiting of Robinson but he wasn't the only person at fault. If you can't see that I suggest you look at the incident again! Note as well I'm not saying it wasn't a howler from Robba, but he was far from the only person who made a mistake!

Before you wish too much ill fortune on him too, you do remeber exactly how BAD James was in goal, don'tcha?

And kudos to Robbo too for coming out and saying what a disgrace the treatment of Jol has been!

I dont think we can take the football opinion of a man that has 50 gamer points from a harry potter game seriously tbh ;)

I'm quite enjoying playing a Potter game which I haven't worked on! :p
Won't be getting many points on Potter for a while considering BioShock is in the post and Skate is coming soon (play teh demo of Skate if you haven't yet!)

I see McClown was still pleased with what he saw on the park... *blinks* Well I would be too if I shut my eyes after 20 mins, otherwise WTF!

I didn't think it was that much of a howler tbh. He anticipated the ball to curve away from the goal which it didn't. It was a difficult ball to deal with once he had anticipated it incorrectly. Maybe a punch rather than a flap would have been better.

Not as bad as the Lehman one last weekend or his last howler for England.

It papered over the fact that we played for 20mins and couldn't be arsed after that. Thought it was Lampards best game and is sad to see supposed Gooner fan Richards not at Arsenal as he was outstanding. He'll end up at Chelski or ManU next season no doubt. :(

There's anticipation and then there's moving 6-8 yards off your line :)

ManU should have bought Micah as a replacement for GN before money got thrown at ManC, I doubt they will have a need for money anytime soon and can afford to keep him.

Unless he gets shipped off for his crimes and all his assets are seized of course.

That was an all new low for England beaten by a German team managed by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

Seriously aside from Beckham's crosses England have no midfielders that know how to supply the strikers with inteligent passes. No surprise England forwards haven't been scoring since Scholes retired. Apart from fighting for long balls they barely get a touch thesedays.

I dont see why we expect to win anything to be honest, we have absolutely fuckall.com young talent coming through anymore.

The only clubs that seem to take youth schemes seriously these days are the smaller clubs that cant afford to piss 12 million away on a foreign player that cant be arsed to put the effort in week in and week out and the yooofs of today are more interested in guns and drugs than sport. The youngsters that do come through from the smaller clubs then tend to get snapped up by the money clubs and then get lost amongst the big named prima donas and rarely get a chance to shine, so end up heading back to a bottom of the table struggling side within a season and end up back in the lower leagues...or even worse, they go to Spurs.

I doubt we'll see teams like the Arse under georgie graham where the core of the team had come through the youth system or Man Utd when scholes, the nevilles, giggs etc were coming through for the foreseeable future, which in turn means we wont see a decent england side for even longer.

Not that i care, im irish.. hahaharrrrrrr

Richards has three years left on his contract and has so far refused to sign a new one. He will be moved on next Summer, unless he changes his mind.
