Is an item any good?

Finding it hard when getting lots of drops to decide which to sell/salvage and which to keep for alts or friends, and also which would i make some heavy dosh from if put on the AH.

I tried printing out the general list of basic weapons and their normal dps and the level they can be used from diablowiki but it's hard to scale that up to allow for all the possible bonuses a yellow item might have.

For instance the best common 2 handed bows for a level 60 has around 380 dps, but as most Demon Hunters will know a really good bow can have a dps of over 1000. So really i am looking for a printable reference list of all weapon types and the highest possible damage.

I know this would be possible to do myself but i'm no expert on using spreadsheets etc and it would take a while comparing all weapons at all levels.

I can see that armour would be a different sort of challenge as it would be more about the max values of certain stats at each level of item, eg. What is the max sort of Str, Dex or Int you could have on a level 32 yellow helm?

So, i was wondering if anyone knows of any tables or lists that any website or blogger etc has compiled of the best possible stats for items of a certain level?

I'd quite like a guide too, not found anything either.

On another note: since I started NM, I have not had a single rare drop :(
Is this the new patch or is this normal? My Mf is low admittedly, but @25 - 30% I should get something now and then?

All i found so far are mainly general tips on what are the most desired stats on items and a table that shows the max amount of various stats possible on various items, but sadly that only helps with level 60 items.

The links to these are:

Gonna carry on looking for an extensive chart or similar for all items at all levels, but Diablo knows if i will find one.

Unfortunately - I would presume people keep their extensive charts quiet, to maximise R(M)AH profits.

I don't have a chart, but the best advice I can offer is trying to figure out what people search for. What lvl 60 inferno players look for is massively different from a leveling char, and then again for AH rookies vs AH regulars.

The simplest stuff makes the easy money though, so yellows with core stats (i.e. wizard = int + vit, barb = str + vit, etc.) just price them competitively compared to what is around (do a quick search based off core values).

Profit vs greed is another big factor, but I always price to sell, if a yellow is going to get me 800gold from vendor, I could put it up for 100k and wait a month for it to sell, or put it up for 50k, get the sale in a day and have space to put more things on the AH.

Bit off topic I know, but might help.

As for a chart, I don't think the upper limits are fully known yet. I've not even seen anybody get datamined values yet, but I'll have a look too :)

Experience of selling stuff on AH certain items require certain stats to sell well, quick run down.

Rings: Crit Hit Chance (4-4.5%), Crit Hit Dmg, Att Speed, Primary Stat
Amulets: as rings but can obtain higher crit hit chance
Boots: Run Speed (12%), Primary Stat, All Resists
Bracers: Crit Hit Chance (>3%), Primary Stat, All Resists, Vit
Gloves: Basically the same stats as rings and amulets
Helm: Socket, Primary Stat, All Resists
Other Armour: Primary Stat, All Resist + 1 other, Vit, Life Regen (Nice if Chest pieces have 3 sockets and legs have 2)
Shields: Block Chance (>20%), Crit Hit Chance (>8%), Primary Stat

All jewelry at lvl 60 no matter how crap with >13% MF will net you 500k

Oh I forgot to add, good luck on finding items like that though :p

At level 60 the all resists on armour need to be >50 and if the item has Dex on it, Monks will be looking for one other resist type.

Weapons: High Dmg, LoH >300, Crit Dmg, Socket are all gonna be winners

Very Basic guide

Just to add to that point about magic find, i also find items of a high level with +gold find are wanted too, for people doing gold runs. Obviously all the better if they have other useful stats too.

In the big world of inferno, "all resists > core stats" so if you have good all resists on it, but average stats, it'll probably still sell for a bit.
