Its bollocks.
Its all come about from a story in yesterdays NotW. The journalist who wrote it is Chris Bascombe. Until last year, he worked for the local paper and has historically had contacts at the club.
Rick Parry (our chief exec - we call him Krusty the Clown) and Rafa don't get on at all. I reckon it is him shit stirring. Seems to me its either Rafa or Parry using Bascombe to create the story to further their own agenda. Probably Parry.
Whatever, the fan backlash in favour of Rafa has been enormous. Expect a show of solidarity behind him at Wednesdays Porto game and this Sundays Bolton game.
I thought a particularly dumb part of the story he ran was that Rafa was getting the sack for being too outspoken in the press and they were going to employ Maureen. Twunt.

My concern would this this - in ANY business, and football is just that these days, if you speak against the boss in public, at the first oppurtunity, you're shown the door. Its just the way it is.
Ask Jose. As soon as he drew against Rosenborg and with their poor start to the season, he was shown the door and he'd won two league titles, an FA Cup and Two Carling Cups.

I don't think he will go, but I don't trust Hicks and I CERTAINLY don't trust the incompetence that is Parry.
