Generally i reckon Townsend knows his arse from his elbow but one thing that irritates me is that he loves interrupting other people.

He constantly trying to take over the presenters job. Asking the other pundits questions himself. I did enjoy the half time between Portugal and the Czechs when Townsend spent 2 minutes explaining why he'd like to see Ronaldo staying more on the wing, then ask David Moyes if he agreed only for Moyles to completely disagree, with Townends sitting there going 'yup', 'yup'. Even better Ronaldo scored a goal from the centre of the pitch in the second half :)
