When noobs attack!

So I was tagging along with a bunch of guys I know froma random internet forum for a PvP frigate op last night.

There are a few veterans but for the most part they're as noob as they come. Some guys even had to be told how to warp to places manually without using the autopilot...

Anyway, we figured that giving everyone a good spread of ewar, a big frig blob should be a pretty fearsome opponent, even if most of the pilots were still in their two week trial.

That worked brilliantly right up to the moment we met the 'Phoon with the navy smartbombs.....

We never even got him into armour.

The armor bots and the ECM! Blasphemy! I wouldnt worry about jammig unless you are in a dedicated ECM boat like a Kitsune or Falcon etc. Fit a 2 pointer warp disruptor.

Well I also had 5 Hobgoblin IIs (they were deployed and got smartbombed along with me which is why they don't show on the killmail). I brought the armour bots along for repairs on the go (Ishkur dronebay ftw!). The ECM was there because everyone else had a warp scrambler so I figured that some different types of ewar would be good. Also even with the nos, my cap is pretty crap with the MWD fitted so a jammer would leave me powerless in no time.
