To be honest Req you might get away with a little filing and use of sharp blades, looks like the iconography is all in acessible places for once!

True story, the inspiration for Dark Angels comes from a poem by the Victorian writer Lionel Johnson called The Dark Angel all about how miserable he is to be gay.

I made a start.
All Fist iconography is off here, I'm going to add DA stuff to replace it via the simple expedient of taking banner tops and small icons from the DA sprue, filing the backs off and then sticking them to the armour (I've started on this with the leg already)
I realised that I only had one shoulder pad with Terminator honours for both the plastic weapon sets. Therefore I've cut the power sword and one of the lightning claws off just above the elbow and they'll be magnetised to share a shoulder.
I'm not convinced about the wings to be honest. I'll see how it goes but there's a chance they'll be coming off. Originally they were on the banner pole but then the figure looked way too top-heavy.

I've not had the time to really crack on with this but I've done some work and I have a few days off coming up where I can really knuckle down and get it finished.
Here's where I'm at. It looks pretty rough at the moment because all I've done is throw some colour at it to see how the scheme hangs together. I'm still not convinced about the wings so they are magnetised too. We'll see if I like them any better when the paint is on.

I've been really busy and not had the time to really crack on with this. Today was a holiday here though so I sat down and made some progress.
This is where it's at right now. I'm going to tidy it up a bit, finish some of the final detail, do the base and then it should be ready to go.
