Fantasy football scores are not going to tell you everything about how a player is performing.
Pass completion which I think is one of the most important stats for a midfield player is not taken into account. Tackling in any form is completely overlooked. Fantasy footy is all about playing in the game, goals for and goals against which tells you f'all about how an individual player is really performing.

), and the other one Chavy Alonso is only just starting to play well now, so I'd take Murphy over them both - he scores more, he's looks to be passing well and he far more consistant. It comes as no surprise Players like Murphy and Nolan are near the top as they have been 2 of the stars of the Prem this season so far. While Flight goes on about Makelele being a better player can you honestly say Chelsea are a better team for his inclusion? Would Chelsea be several points worse of without him? No I think not, but Charlton without Murphy and Bolton without Nolan would be much worse off, and don't even mention Scholes he seems to have retired from football altogether rather than just International.

Without Makalele, Lampard couldn't play the way he does. He is essential for Chelsea and has been missed when he hasn't played. However, because he doesn't get forward and score goals or provide many assists, he won't score many points on the Fantasy League.
The Fantasy League only really rewards Goalkeepers for Clean Sheets, and Midfielders and Strikers for Assists and Goals. Its not really a very good indication of players form tbh.
