again i said my opinion, being a scouser myself im glad liverpool didnt want him back and again in my opinion he only wanted to come back after liverpool won the champions league and a lot of scousers probably feel the same way

I agree we need more goals from our strikers. The rest of the team is doing well though.

We've created more chances/ had more shots per game than any other team apart from Arsenal.
Owen only gives a shit about one thing - Michael Owen. He has zero regard for the team. On top of that his goal scoring record in the Prem is not what everyone makes out. He has never scored 20 in a season (in his last full season he scored 12), he scores in patches and knocks most of his goals in against crap teams. I'm not saying he is crap, far from it, but he isnt in the same class as Henry or Horseface. Most importantly he isnt a forward that Rafa likes. He wants people that bring in other players. The player I would like to have seen us buy is Kuyt.
You can see he is building here exactly what he did at Valencia. When Ranieiri took over he told their defence just to play the same way as they did under Rafa. They told him they had four totally different defensive systems depending on who they played against - Ranieiri was clueless with what to do.
First time Rafa won La Liga no one in his team scored more than 8 goals. He is building this side in exactly the same way. The team is learning lots of different systems in midfield and defence. The attackers have some catching up to do
The second time he beat Barcelona and Real to La Liga it was different. The same forwards bagged hatfuls.
If Rafa stays I am totally confident about our future.
Janie your knocking the Spanish midfielders is about on par with your talking about what a crap defender Carragher is They've been superb recently and have adapted to the physical side of the Prem brilliantly. Ky and Aggy are pretty much spot on but you're talking shoite mate.

Janie do you realise just how stupid you sound pushing an argument with points from a FANTASY football league ? Danny is a talented footballer and a nice bloke and he has one of the best football brains I've ever met.
But, and its a massive but, he gives possession away more than most midfielders in the whole of the Premiership, which isnt reflected in FANTASY football. If he didn't he would be amongst the very best in Europe.
The top midfielders in the FANTASY football league are (not withstanding Lampard), Gamst Pedersson, Murphy, Nolan and Barton and I'm not sure I'd have any of those even warming my bench, whereas you, in Janieworld, are suggesting they are the best midfielders in the country.
Makelele, Alonso, Essien, Sissoko, Ronaldo, Scholes, Reo-coker, etc all have far less points than Murphy, obviously proving he is a far superior midfielder to all of them.

Well Flight seems to think i'm basing my arguement on Fantasy (although i'm guessing those 'fantasy' points aren't award randomly and actually reflect a player performance during the season). But I haven't even seen the points scores yet but like most people with eyes I can tell Murphy has had a much better start to the season than Alonso (who actually just starting to play well) and Garcia (who complete crap and you talk about Murphy giving possesion away cheaply, LOL), but by the way Flight is trying to discredit me, and stuttering he will be proved wrong if he ever actually posts the scores - I'm actually beginning to think Garcia + Alonso scores are going to be less than Murphys now

1. Your 'guessing' what the points are given for, so basically you're admitting you dont know WTF you are basing your argument on ?
2. Garcia is so shit he is up for European player of the year from EUFA.
3. The point is the Fantasy game is just a game and doesnt accurately reflect a players worth. Murphy has four times as many points as Ronaldo, nearly three times as many as Pires, Gilberto, Makelele or Essien, totally disregarding Liverpool.
Does that mean he is a better player than all of those ? Of course it doesnt, although you are arguing that it does.
