Broadband,if only..............

We are surrounded by broadband,we keep seeing ads in the newspapers for broadband,put the paper down then up pops the telly ads,i think they are having a laugh to tease us so badly,but then again thats been BT's way of doing buisness,"sigh":(

Freeze, if Broadband is all around check that doing something as simple as changing your phone number won't give you access.

As most people know we live in the backwash of Broadband Pontefract.

We found out that we couldn't get broadband and we live a few hundred yards from the exchange, but people a few doors away could.

It turned out that our number was on 1 rack at the exchange which wasn't broadbandband enabled, yet the other people were on the other rack which was broadband enabled.

All we did was change our phone number so it resided on the other racj...and we were then broadband enabled:)

Thanks Alan,i will try that........

Yep i will try that when i get home again,hopefully be home Wednesday night,so i will try and find out Thursday sometime:)
