Been there, done that, 11% tax is still there though.

Bear in mind that tax is only taken on bounties over 100k and mission rewards. Completion bonuses, all trade and any other income is not taxed at all. You aren't losing 11% of everything you earn and you're saving yourself the significant cost of renting an office.

If you want to start a corp just to get a look at the corp management UI then go for it (hint: it's terrible even by the standards of the rest of the UI) but none of your other reasons really stack up.
