it seems to be a case that mages/stealtehrs crash less than warriors.
Not sure how - it just seems to happen.

Make sure you disable the x360 option in the game interface

My lidia at lvl 14 is in a full suit of dwarvern amour. she needs to be given decent armour i think but its trial and error at the start.

Not played this sort of game in years, decided to give it a whirl, it's farking amazing! playing a duel wielding fighter who also does a bit of healing upto level 13...

two questions, if you accidently misplace a point can you get it back?
and how do i a buy a house say in whiterun?

as regards the gameplay questions....
officially, no you cant re-place the point. since your playing on the pc though, yeah you can using the console, using 'help' 'addperk' and 'removeperk' )
buying the house - you need to be a thane of whiterun first, then talk to the seneschal bloke next to the jarl.

I'm still crashing a lot too, fortunately autosave has helped a ton, but I'm now in the habit of saving before I get to every ruin/camp/dungeon.

On a side note, anyone know of any good creams for Sanguinare Vampiris? I met a nice lady I met in a cave who said I may get a bit prickly and should avoid spending too long in the sun.

I "did" have a quest from one of the women in Whitereach market asking for one. not happened again second time round however

I had that one too, didn't know if the tusks were used for anything else though, I've got a few of them now!

I have done that quest 3 times on 3 different chars so it should be there, She only needs 1 tusk so I would sell the rest.

There's a quest in Riften which requires at least one tusk, I believe.

I've actually come to find that out of all the stuff I've killed in this game; be it dragons, mages, giants, mammoths, undead... the hardest fight for me is bears! They run bloody fast! lol

Bears can kick the crap out of dragons too.....needs a fix! lol

Not met the ice sabre cats yet......ice troll yes...bastard gets me every time Got no fire.

yeah sabre's are equally annoying, but their build up to their attack is slow enough to let me just keep running and not get hit. Bears however seem to be able to hit me often while I'm running.

Fortunately I'm a mage, so trolls aren't a problem, I think i've got around +170% magicka regen now, maybe more, can't remember the exact numbers, but I'm a fireball churning machine

Got pickpocket to 100. Working on sneak, lock pick, archery and whatever else I feel like.

Char level is 22, just met my first troll and it seems I can't kill it

My mid-20's archer has no problems with trolls. Just enchant your bow with a bit of fire and pewpew.

Even without fire enchants, i can usually get 2-3 sneak arrows in ebfore ti finds me, then it goes down like a sack of spanners on spanner dropping day.

anyone fall foul of the flying backwards dragons after the patch?

lots of folks complaining the patch was arse but mine was fine. i got the odd crash previously but they seem to have stopped now, whether that was addressed by the patch or not.
