Thoughts so far?

It's neither a slating or critism (sorry) it's a fact.
Your fixture list so far to this point has been relatively easy you can't really deny this. However you can only beat what's put in front of you and so far you've been doing it with both style and flair and looking better than last term.

However if it makes you feel any better I hope you get relegated and that gremlin of a manager gets microwaved :)

I'm not denying anything.

If you make the comment as a simple fact then fair enough as it probably is one.

However, plenty of people in other places are slating us as not being that good and only playing well against crap teams.

If West Ham away, Spuds away, Newcastle, Man City, Portsmouth and Seville are what is classed as easy this season then I hate to see what sort of a fight the likes of Wigan, Reading, Middlesbrough etc are going to put up.

Apart from Chelsea, Liverpool have played Derby, Wigan, Sunderland, Toulouse twice, Brimingham, Reading and Besiktas amongst a couple of other tougher opponents and drawn a lot of those games and lost a couple. You could pick any of the top 4 teams starts to the season apart really as unless they have played each other then it looks easy.

Manu's fixtures are also very similar with the exception of Chelsea and they have struggled against a great many of those teams.

Yeah it's the nature of the football fan. I'm sure these other places are also full of gloating Arsenal fans pointing out they are top of the league and they don't spend as much money as some clubs.

Probably.

I gloat over the fact we spend less than Manure, Chavski and the Scousers, play beautiful football and are top of the league. Then again Manure are the most successful club in the history of the Premiership and both them and the Scousers have won the European Cup multiple times so they have plenty of bragging rights too. Chavski are still rofl though.

As for the other clubs, I consider us fortunate to have resources many of them lack.

Arsenal spend less because having sold his soul to the devil Wenger can pick up talent for <5M the likes of which ManU and Chelski are instantly charged >15M :D

Could you ever see Wenger spending >20M on the biggest piece of shit (Veron) to link ManU and Chelski? He'd have got him for a fiver and a couple of milk tokens :)

If the Arse suffered last season by not beating the "easy" teams then they are making up for it and are miles ahead of where they were already. I love the football they play as on their day they can cut any team to pieces in a multitude of ways. I just love ManU more ;)

As a Leicester supporter living in Norfolk with a Norwich supporter I gloat we are just above Norwich. The fact neither of us have a manager or any good players, both play awful football and neither of us have prayer of getting promoted this season is beside the point.

I'm thankful that my best friend when I was 10 or so, supported Arsenal and not Spurs.

That was the reason I started supporting the Arse despite knowing fook all about football at the time. Wenger has made suffering our football in the 80's and early 90's all worth while

Stupid is as stupid does
Fabregas's 60 yard pass to Theo in the CL game was one of the best passes I've ever seen. Ever.

Arsenal should have beaten Liverpool yesterday, it was a good game I thought aside for Eboue diving all over the place and overreacting to the slightest touch, but he always does that :p

Shock of the week - How good was Lampard? That's easily the best i've ever seen him play, perfect passing, great vision and even adding some tricks.
Does he have a twin brother?

I agree with that, although they didn't actually have many shots on target. Really enjoyed the game.

Eboue is an absolute disgrace; he does it all the time. Marred an otherwise great game.

Eboue needs a slap for that and for failing to go in for a 50/50 loose ball. Adebayor and Rosicky also had poor games, I thought.

The things that really confused me are:

Why does pulling yet another opposition player to the floor in your penalty area qualify you for man of the match? Or is it the fact the Ref didn't give it, yet again?

Why does getting played off your own park, having 40% possession, being reduced to 10 men behind the ball, hoofing it down the pitch and having long range shots which were off target or easily saved, all whilst at home, seem to convince your own players and the average pundit that you deserved a point?

Why didn't Flimflam stay in the wall?

Why can't Cesc and Bendtner hit an open goal?

What planet is Rafa on?

He has two wingers available and starts with Voronin and Kuyt out wide. Kuyt has no pace! He brings back Alonso and Torres from injury when they clearly weren't ready. Fair enough they might not have been able to tell with Alonso but Torres was shocking from the word go, and they were thinking about playing him against Everton?!?

Thing that really made me laugh was when he said they wanted to use Torres' pace. What a great idea, use pace against possibly the fastest back four in the Premiership. You beat us 4-1 last season due to two things. One, we sucked and two, Crouch. So you leave him on the bench, smaaaaaaaart.

I can't see Liverpool winning the league any time soon unless someone buys Rafa a clue for Christmas.

Well that was you 2 pence worth.

I've nothing to add tbh but if I add my 2 pence worth maybe we can get a collection going for the Rafa Christmas prezzie ;)

I'd add another 2p for the fact that if Gerrard leaves or gets a long term injury, Liverpool are in hoooooooooooge trouble.

Hleb was man of the match. In the first half he was practically unplayable, not quite so good in the second half but still setup the goal.

Hleb owns.

For ages he showed flashes of genius admist all the frustrating shit he did. Now it's flashes of frustrating shit amidst the genius.

Still in shock tbh.

I knew Levy was a cunt but letting your fans see you laughing after you've just lost in injury time is priceless.

Seems to hold them together in so many areas, you'd expect them to fall like a house of cards.

Thats 6p so far, not much of a clue but we may be able to afford "Kuyt is shiiiiite" or "Injured players rarely play well"?
