I wouldn't buy anything, but if someone wants to put money in my paypal account for me playing a game I won't stop them :)

Couple of questions

1) I can put things on the paid AH, but as soon as I try and change the payment to paypal it just asks me to set up my account and click OK and then nothing happens, anyone know where I can get more details on how to get it working ?

ANSWER --- Goto battle net website, add paypal details, enable SMS security, and BAM, two items listed, though I couldn't sell the salvaged bits, maybe they aren't allowed on the paid bit yet, now to see if they actually sell :)
2) I complete Act 1 on Normal difficulty and I'm now level 16, is it better to replay Act 1 on a harder difficulty before going onto Act 2 ? And if so how do you do that, the difficulty option when I pick 'Change Quest' only shows Normal

Sorry for being a newb :)

1) ohhh like ur thinking let us know if anything sells :)

2) I think it is like D2 where u need to complete on Normal before u go near NM...otherwise u will be dead in 1 shot.

Have to admit I haven't bothered about the AH either. Like to find my own gear and have been training up my Blacksmith as much as poss. No doubt I will change my tune if I get stuck *smiles n shrugs* nothing if not pragmantic.

Belial is driving me nuts on my barb! I'm lvl25 so should be able to beat him, but he always manages to get me just before he is nearly dead...grrrrr.

I might lvl to 26 and then try again and again and again...........

It's usually best to look at the skills you are using and try to switch any that focus on doing damage to lots of mobs at once, and swap em to do the most damage as possible to just one target, and make sure u use any defensive skills to avoid damage taken by you.

Then hopefully the boss will be easier.

OMG, I hit lvl26, made few bits from the BS and killed Belial in the 1st phase in literally 3 strikes!

I had Ignore pain, Battle Cry, Revenge, Frenzy, Eq & WW.

Ahh so I need to now complete Act 2 and Act 3 before I can up the difficulty ?

Fair enough, confused how in a few places I read you would complete the game at Normal usually at level 20, or is that what I get for doing lots of exploring ?

As for the AH I'll find out tomorrow and post results (no bids as yet, though my items are only level 15ish, and my guess would be the higher level stuff will sell better, but then again maybe they are twinking low level chars)

you should clear out normal by around lvl 30-32

Swith, I tried belial with a wiz and couldnt survive 30 seconds and hardly damaged him at all ( normal mobs were going down like flies) had to PUG in the end and still had to be rezzed 3 or 4 times. Monk did it solo in 10 seconds by herself. To me thats a game balance issue.

my wizard wiped him completely as well. Belial is very easy alone on a caster.

Go to the bottom right part, his attacks will always come in the form of "left, right, both". Since he can only turn so much, you're safe for the first hit, then move to the left for the second hit, and then move far left for the last double swipe he does. Stay right when he does his poison spray, and just run when the green spam comes (puts both claws in the floor and spams attacks), only shoot when you're 100% safe and he's not attacking. The only risky bit is the spam attack, just make sure you don't eat up health globes unless you need them and see how it goes.

If he's killing you in 1 hit, then level up or get some +vit items, but really, there should only be a risk of getting hit during the green spam.

Forgot to check my account this morning but Paypal isn't showing anything so I guess they didn't sell. I'd assume blacksmithing raw materials would sell but as I can't for some reason add them I can't prove/disprove the theory.

And what's the deal with healing pots now ? are they taken automatically ?

Regarding levels, i think my Monk is about 28 Starting Act4, and my 60 barb hit half-way through Hell Act 3.

Finally completed Hell last night with a Wizard mate, and tried inferno.
The second trash pack kept killing me. You know, the one with 3 zombies and a fat zombie?

Going to AH a decent weapon tonight and farm Act 3/4 Hell to try to gear up as literally every drop that was useful i had all weekend was great for a wizard. Luckily, my mate could use them all.

i have to say though, I /We really enjoyed Hell. it's proper hard and you get a nice feeling of accomplishment for winning at clicking on Mobs. It feels like the "real" game.

Rng is Rng yeah ?

Your opinion is worthless....
dabbling with a baby wizzie, but i am already losing interest in the game, repetition or just the fact i play mainly in pugs, lowbies it seems the max ingame is 2 players...... who knows I defo want GW2 to hurry up and release as i need an mmg, where you actually have interaction, seems i picked random game we run around for an hour or two and that's it not a word said lol, the chat side of this game is fucking awful...............................

Yeah I can agree with this, Hell mode has made me nearly have to change my pants a few times on HC mode now. Properly taking it steady and slow.

Have to say that, ok, I understand normal is to introduce people to the game, make it very easy, etc. But seriously, its just dull now, I need friends with WP's so I can just go straight to the bits that I need to do, the bosses I barely even get hit, so level/hp/dps doesn't make much difference on normal.

After dropping 200k on a new weapon, i can now Farm Act 3/4 hell mode for cash and Drops. Diablo goes down like a - well, like a lord of hell who takes a lot of fighting, but i'm happy now to be able to farm him with 5x NV.

Will do that between levelling up with Debi aof the next week i think, as inferno is brutal :)

Beat Diablo on normal last night and I didn't die once.

Is he just easy for barbs or am I right in thinking that Belial was the hardest with Azmodan the second?

NM here I come :)
