Finally able to clear a char spot, so made my combat char.

Got two Caldaari Achura - combat char is Flightoo R&D char is Flighttoo.

Update on the INSRG / NNC war:

Over the past 2 months, we've been under constant assault in the 304 constellation by a coalition of alliances lumped under the banner of NNC (new northern coalition) to be polite or NF (NetworkFail) to be impolite. They suck. They blob, They fly drakes in PvP. They fail in general. On monday we realised there was a window of opportunity after inflicting 11+ Bil of damage to them over the weekend. They were weak, we were strong. So a fleet was formed up to start taking the fight to them.

We headed up to Z-K495 - the entrance point to 2 constelation cluster full of outposts (4 at last count) and a whole host of tasty resources includding low tru-sec, icebelts, complex hotspots and some very nice moon mining chains. If we can set up a bridgehead into that constelation in Z-K we can set up all manner of cool stuff in system, use it as a forward base for permanent disruption & raids and choke the life out of them. Our aim is the complete anhialation pf PHAL&SPLR. :):)

Monday night we dropped a deathstar POS in system and knocked one of theirs into reinforced without much resistance, as expected, as we didn't broadcast any info to their spies. Tuesday night however it all kicked off, they busted into system to fix their pos, bringing a combined fleet of approximately 170 vs our scraped together 85. It could have been very messy as we practically killed the servers but managed to eventually get out of their way and safe without too much loss.

Wednesday the tables turned in our favor again as we managed to take control of the system again around a server crash, knock out their Cyno-Jammer POS (They didn't notice it going down untill we cyno'd in a shitload of motherships and carriers) and erect 2 new Deathstars in the system, making the tower count 3:1 to us and contesting system soverignty. To date they have mande no serious attempts at taking on any of our towers which is good for them as they are what're known as "Shredders"..... Knocked a few mining pos into reinforced also which come out tonight.

We apaprently have something like 15 carriers and 4 motherships in sytem, and dreads on standby.

It's Friday night.
It's time for fighting.

** The situation has been made massively more complex as the forces of Krautbreak(Ev0ke and Outbreak) and Triumvirate have moved into the NPC system INSRG usually base out of. they are here for Good Fights (tm) not territory warfare and they seem to be leavin salone to brawl with NNC ***

*** NNC includes: Phalanx Allianz, Stella Polar, Destiny, SRBI, Rare Faction, Majesta Empire, Phoenix Alliance, and a few other minor players.

Uhm... Stupid question, why is flying Drakes in PvP considered bad? Not that I remember what the Drake was, but I am still curious. ;)

They do pretty crap DPS, no tackle, massive pointless tank, no manouverability, etc.
Oh, and not forgetting ... Missiles. They are the sort of ship you fly into pvp of you don't want to get shot at first and survive. It's barely worth calling them Primary as they do crap damage and just about every FC will ignore them and kill real threats.
