It would appear that Liverpool fans want to win things but also want their team to play good football and score lots of goals just like the good old days.

Then again, Liverpool have some class and history to live up to whereas Chelsea...............don't

Appariently the fans were booing because they are absolutely desperate for Liverpool to finally win the Prem League, so they can rob the players houses and steal the medals next time Liverpool play away in Europe

You were awful last night losing to spurs. What is the point of Carlton Cole? He doesn't score (m)any goals, doesn't hold the ball up, doesn't seem to have much pace and doesn't work hard for the team (even Dirk does this). For all his effectiveness you might as well play Cheryl Cole, at least she'd cause a distraction!

I have no idea what the point of Carlton Cole is to be honest. Certainly no point to him as a footballer.

In certain games there has been a total lack of effort by some of the players. I was at the Wigan match and half the team were just not trying that day - only when el Zhar came on did they wake up. Players like Pennant, Dossena et al are a disgrace and should not be allowed anywhere near the red shirt. Keane is trying too hard. Liverpool fans expect commitment - if they show this and lose it's not a problem.
Part of it I am sure is aimed at the manager - some of his team selections and formations are baffling to say the least. He still has the fans on his side, but why play 1 up front against teams that park the bus in front of their goal. Lots of credit to Hull though... they went for the win.
